The paper set by IITs or IISc which are the best Institutes in India

The syllabus is short as compared to ESE (Engineering Service examination) or PSUs but the level of questions is much higher. So, there is no need for studying too many things. But it is important to have a deep insight of whatever you need to study.

Cramming up the formulae won’t help until and unless you have a clear concept of the logic.

The questions are based on the basic concepts and do not require much calculation.

The questions framed are new (more than 90%) and they are not directly copied from any particular book.

And most important, the student must keep in mind that “The GATE exam is meant for testing the technical knowledge”.
